Red carpet events are probably one of my favorite topics to blog about! I know you all know that the CFDA Fashion Awards held by the Council of Fashion Designers of America were last night and the red carpet flourished with some of the most amazing moments in fashion. The CFDA Awards is similar to the Met Ball as it is also considered a huge night for fashion. So, I know we all have our own opinions about the much anticipated red carpet scene. Unfortunately. I am only going to name one celebrity who, in my eyes, was the worst dressed of the night. The dress is the hottest topic on social media right now and she is the most talked about celebrity of our decade. Rihanna stepped out in a glittering crystal dress by Adam Selman that turned the heads and shocked the eyes of many. Rihanna won the CFDA’s Fashion Icon of the Year Award and to me I just still do not understand why the dress she wore is getting so much appreciation. Fashion is one thing and I am totally for embracing your body as a woman, but this dress is just beyond risky. As a lover of all things fashion, celebrities and style, Rihanna’s bare dress left me speechless and disappointed. Who knew you had to be naked to “affect fashion“. Don’t get me wrong, she looked flawless, I just was not fascinated by the dress.
